You probably already recognize this quote?! That's right - this is the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. If you want to refresh your memory about this extraordinary tale you can either read the book, or simply go for brunch to The Mad Hatter on S Goodman St.
This place is absolutely gorgeous! There is so much detail in the interior of each room that one could spend hours looking around the wonderland. It feels that you are in the book, having a tea with the Mad Hatter himself.
The Mad Hatter is open 7 days a week from 7.00 am until 15.00 o'clock :) Breakfast, lunch and tea is served in the house, but you can also purchase tea from there. The Loose Leaf Teas Menu presents a large selection: black, green, white, and herbal teas. The restaurant offers private parties and catering, and the traditional British High Tea Service. To experience this highly sophisticated dining event, you need a reservation.

Once you choose your tea, the waiter gives you detailed instructions how to steep it, for how long, whether or not you could add milk/cream, etc. It may be too much for some people, but if you get into this tea mood, it is actually really fun. The best part is when you get this adorable hourglass to time the steepping.
The majority of teas and dishes are named after the colorful characters from Lewis Carroll's novel. This makes the menu an outstanding read. Then the food arrives and it exceeds your expectation! The flavors are rich and it is absolutely delicious.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates not only good food but a good story as well. So ahead and jump into the rabbit hole - totally worth it! Don't let the clock fool you. ;)
